Bringing back the glow of life to military personnel: launching the charity candle series “Dare to Shine”
Ukrainian businesses continue to unite for a common victory. The Svitlo communication agency and the Turbotv workshop created a limited edition of candles “Dare to Shine” for the Independence Day of Ukraine. 100% of the profits from the businesses will be transferred to the “Inshi” charitable fund for the rehabilitation of military personnel.

“Nowadays, every Ukrainian has developed the habit of donating. It’s great, because this is how we support the military in the difficult fight against the aggressor. As the founder of a communications agency, from the beginning of the full-scale invasion, I wanted to increase assistance to the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and create a product that would give civilians positive emotions and the military – physical and psychological recovery,” comments Svitlo founder Polina Kovaleva.
The idea to create a charitable series of candles came to the business owners during the massive shelling and blackouts in Ukraine. At that time, cities were plunged into darkness, but behind the darkness, a light of hope always burned in the windows of buildings.
The “Dare to Shine” candle series is the personification of every Ukrainian who, despite all the difficulties of life during a full-scale war, continues to believe in the best. The candles combine three aromas – sugar, vanilla, and coffee with milk.
“ The aroma, which is especially present in routine during wartime and is like a manifesto to move on. People hang coffee for the military; drink coffee after difficult and loud nights when they didn’t get enough sleep; a ritual that allows you to distract yourself from the news for 5 minutes and recover ,” adds Turbota co-founder Nazariy Pankevich.
The collection will have a limit of 80 candles. 100% of sales will be directed by businesses to the rehabilitation of military personnel to the “Others” charity fund. You can join the rehabilitation of defenders and purchase a candle on the brand’s website, on social networks and in offline showrooms: Vsi.Svoi, OctoTower, Komirka, Kotilyasya Torba (Zhytomyr), Emoji (Lviv), Theroom Showroom (Mykolaiv), Trickyfox (Kharkiv).
